The woods surrounding Derwentwater are truly wonderful to explore. The quiet lifestyle of the English countryside provides the perfect playground to commune with nature.
While making this image, I was drawn to the overlapping trunks and twigs of these mossy trees. The low angled light seemed to provide a soft afterglow to the mossy trees.
