I enjoy making images that bring contrasting elements together. They lead to interesting opportunities for the photographer and drives a higher level of engagement for the viewer !! In this image, the redbud is a vibrant, transient and stationary element that coexists seamlessly with the permanent and fast moving force that the Merced River is.
