When I was exploring the Derwentwater area, I came upon a wonderful section of woodlands. The area was ripe to exercise my creative juices by the sheer variety of shapes, textures, and colors.

I was captivated by the outstretched branches of this magnificent mossy, bare tree. The colored understory provided a warm canvas to showcase the sprawl.
