I enjoy making photographs in the bayou as here, time appears to have stood still even as Spanish Moss envelopes giant cypress trees !! The juxtaposition of soft green moss and tan colored autumn foliage provided a compelling subject matter. The placid waters of the bayou unified the scene to underscore the feeling of calm I experienced while making this image.
