Storms that clear around sunrise are what we photographers yearn for in Yosemite. It provides the opportunity for mist to be swirling around the tops of the high cliffs. This coupled with the dramatic early morning light hold immense photographic potential. I was fortunate to encounter such fantastic conditions while I made this image!
