Nikon's 70-200mm f2.8 lens is one of my favorite lenses for landscape photography. Not only is the glass of outstanding quality, it is also my "go-to" lens to make intimate landscape photographs. After hiking to Proxy Falls in Oregon, I was overwhelmed to see the waterfall in full flow. I made some images with a wider angle lens. However, what really caught my eye was the falls cascading over the lush verdant moss. I immediately switched over to the 70-200mm lens and was thrilled to zero in on this composition.
