This is another such photograph that I made back in 2011. What caught my attention (besides the wintry chill), was the mist that blanketed most of the the valley floor revealing just the tops of tall pine trees and creating a near zig zag pattern as it made its way through the valley.
The mist also enveloped Yosemite's giant granite cliffs reducing many of the receding ridges to mere silhouettes adding even more mystery.
